Individual sessions at The Well are offered by Catherine Wells, a registered Occupational Therapist (mRCOT), Health & Care Professions Council Registered Practitioner (HCPC), and experienced yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance Registered) with nearly a decade of experience in private practice. Catherine has supported a wide range of individuals and groups, including young people and adults, navigating anxiety, low mood, burnout, chronic illness, trauma, neurodivergence, sleep difficulties, and periods of transition.
To support individuals Catherine utilises a unique mind body approach which draws from her experience and training as an occupational therapist and yoga teacher along with her training in multiple other modalities. Her therapeutic work is rooted in the evidence-based framework of occupational therapy, while drawing from a broad and rich tapestry of complementary practices including yoga, somatic therapy, breathwork, nervous system regulation, ecotherapy and cognitive approaches. Her background as a health professional ensures her work is grounded in scientific rigour, while her training in the yoga traditions and beyond adds depth, intuition, and embodied awareness. Grounded in clinical expertise and shaped by years of professional practice, these sessions bridge the worlds modern science and ancient wisdom.
Catherine strongly believes in a holistic and integrated approach where multiple aspects of wellbeing are addressed in the context of the life of the individual. Sessions are designed in collaboration with the client and informed by their strengths, needs, values, interests and goals. Whether working through long-held patterns or simply seeking deeper connection to life, body or purpose, these sessions offer a safe and compassionate space to explore, regulate and reconnect.
