Women’s Circle

For millennia, women have gathered in circle; around fires, under moonlight, in their homes. Sharing stories, wisdom, laughter, tears, and silence. These gatherings weren’t extracurricular, they were essential. They were where knowledge was passed, stories shared, emotions held, and where women remembered their strength through each other. In a modern world that often pulls us into isolation and individualism, the call to return to this way of gathering is strong. At The Well, we honour this ancient practice and create space for it to live on, in a way that feels nourishing, grounded, and relevant for today.

Held once a month our Women’s Circle is a space to gather, ground, and grow together. Rooted in the cycles of nature and the wisdom of women gathering in community, each circle offers something slightly different, gently shaped by the time of year, the collective energy, and the needs of those who gather.

At the heart of every circle is connection: to ourselves, to each other, to the world around us. We begin with a sharing circle, an opportunity to speak, to be heard, or simply to sit in the quiet power of women coming together. This is followed by a gentle practice such as breathwork, yoga, meditation, or a simple seasonal or herbal ritual. We close by gathering around the fire (outside if weather allows), sharing a warm cup of tea and a sense of belonging.

Practices are always invitational and optional. There’s no pressure to participate in any particular way, just an open invitation to show up as you are.

These circles are a balm in a fast-paced world. A chance to soften, to exhale, to remember that you are not alone. A space to reconnect with your own inner rhythm, held by the cycles of the seasons, and the circle of women around you.
